Computer Scientist by profession, classical musician by history, and photographer by passion.
My earliest memory of picture taking dates back to the 5th grade. Armed with my father's Kodak Brownie camera, I set out to document a week at a beach-side camp. I was soon dubbed camp-photographer and published in the camp newsletter. The same year, I documented the wedding reception for my grandmother's third wedding. I was 9.
My first SLR was a Canon AE-1 purchased in 1978. I used this camera exclusively for 22 years. Though these years I dabbled in photography, my output waxing and waning. Everything changed in 2006 with the purchase of a dSLR. Using digital equipment allows me to easily explore new ideas and puts me in control in the digital darkroom.
